Cryotherapy using CryoPen is a precise, non-surgical treatment used to safely remove benign skin lesions such as skin tags, warts and pigmentation, with minimal disruption to surrounding tissue.

Cryotherapy Rr Treatment Details

Cryotherapy with CryoPen uses a controlled jet of nitrous oxide to freeze and destroy targeted benign skin lesions.

The extreme cold causes the treated tissue to break down gradually, allowing the body to naturally shed the lesion over the following days and weeks.

This treatment can be used for a range of concerns, including skin tags, warts, verrucae, cherry angiomas, age spots and certain areas of pigmentation. The precision of CryoPen allows for accurate application, helping to protect surrounding healthy skin, including more delicate facial areas where appropriate.

Following treatment, it is common for the area to appear slightly red, blister or form a scab before healing. Most lesions resolve in a single session, although larger or more persistent areas may benefit from follow-up treatment. During consultation, your clinician will assess suitability and confirm that the lesion is appropriate for cryotherapy. For safety, we require written confirmation from your GP that any moles have been assessed as benign prior to removal.
