MIS-SHAPEN NOSE
A mis-shapen nose, commonly referred to as a bump on the nose, or a dorsal bump, can be perceived as undesirable and appear as an over shaped bridge giving the appearance that the nose is disproportionately large.
A misshapen nose can be genetic and is a trait that is often inherited from your parents or grandparents. Much as this condition can grow or change during development, it will often become more pronounced in adulthood. Another cause of misshapen nose is due to injury, where the formation of calcium deposits promotes the appearance of bone growth and can result in a “bump” or extended bridge.
Both of these conditions can be successfully treated with Non Surgical Rhinoplasty – a technique that uses the administration of dermal fillers to even out the structure of the nose making it appear smaller and more desirably contoured.
